Garrida House

Garrida House is an old farm house in the Ave region, dating back to the end of the XIX century. It is owned by the same family for several generations.

Not having been inhabited for a few decades, the house is currently vacant and in an advanced state of degradation.

With this starting point, it is the intention of the owners to move forward with the process of rehabilitation of the Garrida House, in order to provide it with all the current conditions of comfort and security, which enable continuous use.

Bearing this objective in mind, the present project intends to promote a its rehabilitation respecting the history of the building and its entire setting, particularly marked by the rural surroundings, the by presence of the river Ave and by the proximity of the Lagoncinha bridge (National Monument).
